EcoVadis silver for FaciliTec – with a percentile of 85

EcoVadis evaluates environmental, ethical trade and sustainability measures. FaciliTec is very proud to have been awarded a silver medal – with a percentile of 85.

Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world's largest and most trusted provider of corporate sustainability ratings. They have created a global network of more than 100,000+ rated companies. With only two years of operation, FaciliTec has already been awarded a silver medal for their work with the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

High percentile is good

The CEO of FaciliTec, Michel Berglund, is very pleased with the silver, and especially with the percentile.

"In EcoVadis, the term 'percentile' is used to compare and rank a company's sustainability performance relative to other companies in the same industry," says Berglund.

- The percentile indicates the percentage of companies that have a sustainability performance that is as good or worse than the evaluated company. The fact that FaciliTec has a percentile of 85 means that 85% of the evaluated companies in the same industry have a lower sustainability performance, while 15% have a better performance.

With only two years of operation, FaciliTec has already been awarded a silver medal for their work with the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Tools to improve CSR practices

- The EcoVadis global system evaluates and ranks companies' sustainability performance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including environmental, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Their purpose is to promote sustainability by providing companies all over the world with insights and tools to improve their CSR practices and manage their supply chains in a more sustainable way," says Michel Berglund.

Already going for gold

EcoVadis applies a medal system to show companies' sustainability performance and placement in their sustainability rating system: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum.

"These medals are a motivating factor to improve and continue the work towards sustainability, social responsibility and contribute to a more sustainable global economy, and the work for FaciliTec to reach gold has already begun," concludes CEO Michel Berglund.
